Dan
Dan started beating the skins in his early elementry days of the third grade. Dan calls himself a timpanist, having great opportunities to play with some of the best along his road of music education. Performing in this year's solo and ensemble festival Dan was awarded the highest recognition for his timpani solo. Playing many of the percussion insturments, Dan enjoys sticking to the basics...the drums, and timps. |

Instrumentation
Dan began his CTC career with a vintage Gretch four piece set. After six months of playing with CTC, Dan aquired a six-piece DW kit. The champagne sparkle set is equiped with DW pedals and hardware. Dan uses a wide variety of Zildjian cymbals. His cymbal collection is made of two crashes, 16 and 18", a 20" ride, and a 10" splash (all A Custom series), and a hi-hat comprised of two 13" mastersound hats.

Vocals
Thought Dan is considered the drummer of the group, he has the responsibility of lead vocals on roughly sixty percent of the CTC set list. Dan's higher range enables him to sing many songs that Adam and Tony can't. With his rough edge, Dan can hit many high notes of classic Zeppelin, and can also roll things out smooth for modern ballads.
