Tony leaves CTC...
Sadly, Tony DiPoto has parted ways with CTC. The singer/guitarist cites artistic differences as the main reason. An avid Dream Theater fan, Tony's interests grew heavier than the CTC style. Tony's last performance was March 22, 2002 at the NHS Talent Show in which he gave a storming performance in front of thousands of screaming fans. His abrubt decision to leave was a suprise to many, including his bandmates.
"I was suprised," said singer/guitarist Adam "but I completely understand. If you aren't into the music, it's tough to perform. Tony is an excellent guitarist and a great musician. Hopefully we can still write songs together." Singer/Percussionist, Dan, was quoted saying, "Tony was a great addition to the CTC family last year and I am saddened with the news of his departure from the group." Out of no where, Dan then commented, "Tony really should get a hair cut and burn his Pacer jersey."
The news has been a setback to the band, but plans to release a full length album this May are still on.
We give Tony DiPothead(just kidding) our support and wish him the best of luck. He will be missed.
